Ok, Ok. It's been a while. So I got busy. Sue me. Work pays better than blogging, to paraphrase the recent words of another excellent blog writer.
Anyway, I'm overdue, and I hope my faithful readers will return soon enough. In my time away, a few things have happened.
- I've rethought my "personal brand" and what I offer that's unique and valuable
- In the process of 1), I have joined a small confederation of innovative thinkers called The Disruption Group who see the world differently
- I decided that my blog also needed slight refocusing, and so I will be henceforth talking about Disruptive Innovation, and specifically business strategy to take advantage of disruption and/or defend against being disrupted, and disruptive marketing of which there is far too little
I will also have a running theme discussing all the books that I have on my shelf, which ones I recommend as well as those that I don't. I do this partly to share what I think is worthwhile, but also because I think it is a thread that will help shed light on the way that I think (which hopefully gives you, the reader a filter to understand where I'm coming from). Unfortunately, it may take years before you've gleaned enough for that to be truly useful. Sorry, can't have everything.
I think there will be a good amount to discuss, but I'd also like to invite readers to suggest disruptive or innovative, or especially disruptive innovative things for me to discuss and analyze. Just click on the "Email me" link in the sidebar, or add a comment to a relevant post.
Good to see you're back in circulation. Looking forward to the next few posts.
